MIT-WPU Petroleum Engineering Students Awarded Prestigious IADC International Scholarship

Two final-year B.Tech Petroleum Engineering students from the School of Polytechnic and Skill Development at MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune, have been awarded the prestigious International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) Scholarship 2025, receiving USD 5,000 each in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements.

The scholarship recipients are:

• Mr. Moharjyoti Chakraborty
• Mr. Syed Uzairuddin Nehri

Conferred on 8 August 2025, the IADC Scholarship is one of the most distinguished international recognitions in the field of petroleum engineering. Awarded annually to only 20 students worldwide from universities with an active IADC Student Chapter, the scholarship honours exceptional academic performance and achievements from school through university.
