Kruti J. Dave Brings Home Four International Taekwondo Medals from South Korea

Kruti J. Dave, a second-year MBA in HR student at MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), has achieved a remarkable international sporting feat, winning four medals across two Taekwondo championships in South Korea.

Kruti competed at the WTCE 19th Championship and Expo, held at Muju Taekwondowon from 16 to 21 July 2026, where she secured Gold in Poomsae and Silver in Kyorugi.

She continued her winning run at the World Olympics Taekwondo Federation Championship in Incheon on 25 July 2026, adding a Silver in Fight/Kyorugi and a Bronze in Poomsae to her medal tally.

Her international sporting journey also included an interaction with representatives of the Indian Embassy in Seoul, where she had the opportunity to share her experiences as an athlete representing India on the global stage.

Kruti further had the opportunity to meet the President of Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Headquarters, and Olympic Gold Medallist Mun Dae-sung, making her South Korea experience a valuable blend of sporting achievement and international exposure.

Her performance reflects the dedication, discipline and perseverance that continue to drive her pursuit of excellence in sport alongside her management education at MIT-WPU.
