MIT-WPU Student Aria D’Souza Wins Gold at 5th India Taekwondo Kyorugi National Championship

Aria D’Souza, a third-year student pursuing T.Y.B.A. (Hons) Political Science at the Department of Liberal Arts, MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune, has brought laurels to the university by securing a Gold Medal at the 5th India Taekwondo Kyorugi National Championship held in Pune from 16 to 21 August 2026.

Competing at the national level, Aria demonstrated exceptional skill, discipline and determination to emerge victorious in the championship. Her achievement reflects her commitment to excellence both in academics and beyond the classroom.

Adding to this accomplishment, Aria has also been selected for the India Team Camp, marking another significant milestone in her sporting journey.
