Akshita Saxena Shines Bright at Viksit Youth Bharat Parliament 2025

Akshita Saxena, Joint Cultural Secretary (Division 1), has brought immense pride to the MIT World Peace University by representing Maharashtra at the prestigious Viksit Youth Bharat Parliament 2025, held at the iconic Parliament House in New Delhi. Her exceptional performance earned her a special felicitation by the Hon’ble Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs, alongside senior ministry officials, highlighting her leadership and eloquence.

Selected from over 70,000 applicants nationwide via the MyBharat portal, Akshita stood out as one of only three students chosen from Maharashtra after successfully clearing four rigorous evaluation rounds -video submission, district-level, state-level, and national-level assessments. Her journey culminated in an outstanding performance during the national round.

As part of this transformative experience, Akshita had the rare privilege of visiting the newly inaugurated Parliament building and witnessing a live Rajya Sabha session where the WAQF Bill was being passed - a moment that added depth to her inspiring journey.
