The School of Law at MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune, in collaboration with the Centre for Industry-Academia Partnerships (CIAP), signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Regulus Advocates & Consultants and Legis Fortis to strengthen academia-industry collaboration and enhance experiential learning opportunities for law students.
Regulus Advocates & Consultants, a multidisciplinary law firm with offices in Pune and Mumbai specializing in litigation support and legal consultancy, will collaborate with MIT-WPU to offer internships, live projects, placements, industry training, and expert guest lectures. The partnership will also explore additional initiatives to foster knowledge exchange and professional development.
Similarly, the collaboration with Legis Fortis, a law firm specializing in litigation, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), and contract law, will create opportunities for internships, live projects, placements, industry training, and guest lectures, while providing students with practical exposure to contemporary legal practice.
These collaborations reaffirm MIT-WPU's commitment to delivering industry-aligned legal education by bridging the gap between academic learning and professional practice, empowering students with the skills, experience, and industry exposure needed to excel in the legal profession.
