MIT-WPU Signs MoU with Lex Credence to Enhance Legal Education and Professional Development

The School of Law at MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune, in collaboration with the Centre for Industry-Academia Partnerships (CIAP), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lex Credence on 27 January 2025.

The partnership aims to strengthen academia-industry collaboration by creating meaningful opportunities for student learning, professional development, and legal research. Through this collaboration, MIT-WPU and Lex Credence will work together to bridge the gap between classroom learning and legal practice.

Under the MoU, students will benefit from internship and placement opportunities, while faculty and industry experts will collaborate on research initiatives and curriculum enhancement. The partnership will also facilitate continuing education programmes for students and explore the establishment of an Arbitration Centre at MIT-WPU, further strengthening the University's ecosystem for legal education, alternative dispute resolution, and industry engagement.
