MIT-WPU Signs MoU with Center for Human Security Studies to Strengthen Academic-Industry Collaboration

The School of Law at MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune, in collaboration with the Centre for Industry-Academia Partnerships (CIAP), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Center for Human Security Studies (CHSS), Hyderabad, on 9 September 2025.

To mark the occasion, Dr. Ramesh Kanneganti, Founder and Executive Director of CHSS, delivered an insightful expert session on "Internal Security and External Affairs of India" for students of the School of Government and the School of Law. His engaging address provided students with valuable perspectives on contemporary security challenges and India's strategic affairs.

The partnership aims to strengthen academia-industry collaboration by creating opportunities for knowledge exchange, innovation, and professional development. Under the MoU, CHSS will support students through internship opportunities, placement assistance, mentorship for career advancement, and guidance for startup and service development, enabling them to enhance their industry readiness and career prospects.
