Dr. Shivani Gupta

Bio

Dr. Shivani Gupta is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. She holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Uttarakhand, where her research focused on the development of biodegradable biocomposites using microwave sintering process for orthopedic applications. Her research interests include microwave materials processing, additive manufacturing, biomaterials, and modeling and simulation. Dr. Gupta has significant International Research Exposure, having served as a Visiting Scholar at Pennsylvania State University, USA, under a prestigious Indo-US SPARC project. She received the SERB International Travel Grant to attend an international conference in USA. She is awarded a gold medal in her master's at Panjab University, Chandigarh.
