Bio

Dr. Prashant S. Lahane is an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science Engineering at MIT-WPU, Pune, with over 17 years of teaching and academic administration experience.

He completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from VIT University, Vellore, and holds B.Tech. and M.Tech. degrees in Computer Science and Information Technology. His contributions include academic coordination, industry collaboration, NAIP training, and conducting major national examinations such as JEE, GATE, MHT-CET, and AIAPGET.

He has published 42 research papers and holds 5 patents in areas including machine learning, EEG-based stress detection, and intelligent systems, focusing on industry-oriented learning, innovation, and student skill development
