Dr. Madhuri Rao

Bio

Dr. Madhuri Rao is currently associated with the School of Computer Science Engineering and Technology of Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune as a Senior Assistant Professor. She has more than 15 years of rich teaching experience with premier institutes such as Symbiosis International University, Pune and Siksha 'O' Anusandhan Deemed University, Bhubaneswar. Dr Rao also has a couple of years of industrial experience with the CSS Corporation. She has acquired her Doctoral Degree from the Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha and her Master of Technology from the Bharath University, Chennai. She is also a recipient of the Best Research Scholar award of BPUT, Odisha under the TEQIP -III scheme.

Dr. Rao has published many research papers in journals, and book chapters with indexing in Scopus, SCI and WoS. She has also published and presented at many International Conferences. Dr. Rao has also recently published a patent titled "Post Covid Heart Health Monitoring using Machine Learning Techniques on smartwatch data". Moreover, she is also serving as Academic Editor of PloS One a Q1 Journal with an impressive impact factor while she is also an active reviewer in a couple of journals with Springer and Elsevier.

Dr Rao's research interests are Distributed Computing, High-Performance Computing, Wireless Sensor Networks and techniques of Machine Learning and AI.
