MIT World Peace University's 5th Convocation Ceremony concluded with grandeur on November 4th, at the World Peace Dome in Loni Kalbhor, Pune. The event marked a momentous milestone as 5,180 graduates, including 16 outstanding PhD recipients and 140 medal awardees, bid farewell, highlighting the university's commitment to cutting-edge research and innovation. Notably, the prestigious MIT-WPU Vidnyan Maharshi Samman was conferred upon distinguished scientist Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar for his remarkable contributions to the field of science. The ceremony was presided over Founder President, Dr. Vishwanath Karad.

The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest, Amitabh Kant, India's G20 Sherpa and former CEO of NITI Ayog. Mr. Kant, in his address to the students, emphasised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for India and its youth, stating, "Institutions like MIT-WPU are the bedrock of quality education and skill development for our youth, laying the foundations for a progressive, dynamic, and vibrant India."

Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Vishwanath Karad, Founder and President of MIT-WPU, emphasised the institution's commitment to nurturing global citizens who champion world peace, stating, "Our graduates carry the beacon of knowledge and the vision of a harmonious world."

MIT World Peace University's 5th Convocation stands as a testament to the university's enduring dedication to fostering an environment of wisdom, knowledge, and global harmony, celebrating not just academic accomplishments but also the vision of a brighter, more peaceful world.
