Bio

Dr. Bhanudas S. Kuchekar has completed B. Pharm, M. Pharm (Gold Medal), Ph.D., LL.B., and PG Dip.in Patents Law.

He has 45 years of teaching experience, started his career as a lecturer from Poona College of Pharmacy (1978- 1991), then continued at Government College of Pharmacy Karad, Aurangabad, Amravati (1991 -2008) as Associate Professor and Professor.

Since April 2008, he is associated with MIT, as Principal, MAEER’S Maharashtra Institute of Pharmacy, Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy & Dean, Student Affairs at MIT World Peace University, Pune and currently working as an Advisor, School of Health Sciences, MIT WPU Pune.

He has 3 patents; 4 books & 179 peer reviewed research publications and reviews to his credit. He has guided more than100 postgraduate and 16 Ph.D. scholars in Pharmaceutical Sciences. He has delivered about 155 lectures on various subjects including analytical research, IPR, Patent filing, Pharma Patent Litigation and Patent Infringement, ISO, NAAC, NBA, NEP 2020 and general lectures in various institutions and conferences at national and international level.

Dr. Kuchekar is life member of Indian Pharmaceutical Associations (IPA), Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE), Indian Society for Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics (ISCPT), Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), American Chemical Society (ACS), He has been honoured with Chartered Chemist of Institute of Chemist, India and Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), London.

He worked as a member, BOS, Faculty of Pharmacy, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Shivaji University, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Sambhajinagar. He also served as Senate member of Pune University, Pune.

He worked as Chairman/Member on different committees of DTE (Govt. of Maharashtra), AICTE, MPSC, NAAC and various Universities in India.

He is recipient of several prestigious awards. Few of them are:
