In a landmark collaboration, MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune, and Konkan Railway Corp Ltd (KRCL) have formalised their commitment to mutual growth through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The agreement, signed in the presence of KRCL's Chairman & Managing Director, Shri Sanjay Gupta, and MIT-WPU Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dr Ravi Kumar Chitnis, and other officials of MIT-WPU and KRCL present on the occasion were the Director (Operations & Commercial) of KRCL - Shri Santosh Kumar Jha, Director (Finance) of KRCL - Shri Rajesh Bhadang, Director (Way & Works) of KRCL - Shri R K Hegde, Shri Kiran Kurundkar - Advisor, Prof. Dr Dinesh Seth - Dean of School of Engg. and Technology, and Prof Dr Ganesh Kakandikar - Associate Dean External Relations. establishes a strategic partnership for skill development. This initiative aims to provide valuable exposure and training opportunities for students in the fields of Mechanical, Electronics, and Electrical engineering at various Konkan Railway sites. The collaboration signifies a significant step towards fostering a strong association between educational institutions and industry for the holistic development of students and the advancement of both organisations.
