Bio

Chetan Patil is a highly accomplished mechanical engineer with a passion for teaching and research. He graduated with first-class honors in Mechanical Engineering in 2010 from MIT Academy of Engineering, Pune, and completed his Master's Degree in Design Engineering with First class in 2012 from SRES College of Engineering, Kopargaon, Ahmednagar. During his undergraduate studies, he worked on 'Design and Manufacturing of Special Purpose Machine for Flaring Operation,' which was sponsored by Rathi Transpower Pvt. Ltd., Pune, India, and his Master's Degree thesis topic was on 'Vibration analysis of high-pressure fuel injection pipe for a large V-Diesel engine,' which was sponsored by Kirloskar Oil Engine Ltd., Pune, India.

Chetan has more than ten years of teaching experience and has taught various subjects, including Strength of Materials, Mechanical Vibration, Design of Machine Elements, Reliability Engineering, Introduction to Engineering Design Principles, Basics of Mechanical Engineering, and Engineering Graphics for undergraduate students. He has published over 12 papers in international journals and has guided 12 undergraduate projects. Chetan has also applied for four national patents, such as 'Design and development of AI-based Air conditioning system with passenger detection mechanism and after parking heat treatment regulations,' 'Design and development of modified automatic defogger assembly with frontal safety mechanism,' 'Design and development of a modified brake pedal assembly for early detection of the braking phenomenon,' and 'Reliability Indicating Apparatus For Automobiles.' Furthermore, he has applied for two international patents, including 'Reliability Indicator Device For Disk Brake In Modern Vehicles' and 'Development of Multifunctional Gas cylinder stand with Leak detection and scaling mechanism.' Chetan is a true innovator who is passionate about improving engineering designs to make them safer, more efficient, and more reliable.
