Bio

Rohit Borachate is a UX Designer and educator with a Master of Design in Interaction Design from IIT Guwahati and a background in Mechanical Engineering. With over three years of industry experience across domains such as logistics, healthcare technology, enterprise software, API management, financial systems, and digital media systems, he specializes in UX Research, Usability Engineering, Interaction Design, and Visual Design, working across both B2C and B2B environments. His professional journey includes key roles at Porter, Power Soft Global Solutions, and Testcraft, where he led impactful design initiatives that significantly improved user engagement and operational efficiency. He is also deeply involved in design leadership and mentorship, having served as Design Head for the NSS Cell and as a core member of the creative team at IIT Guwahati. At MIT WPU, he brings an applied design approach rooted in usability engineering and systems thinking, preparing students to solve complex UX challenges across consumer and enterprise products.
