MIT-WPU's Department of Civil Engineering organized the 23rd edition of its National Level symposium, Nirmitee, on March 16 and 17, 2023. The event, which has been a legacy of the department since 2000, aims to provide a platform for budding civil engineers to showcase their skills and interact with industry experts. Nirmitee conducted a range of competitions including R.Y.L.A, Pitch Hunt, Scrap to Fab, Treasure Hunt, Bob the Builder, e-Tendering, Softcon, Technoquiz, and Paper Presentation. The event's motto, "Sthapthi to Modernity" signifies the transition from establishment to modernity, with a focus on innovative solutions for modern-day construction challenges.
