User Experience Design (B.Des)

Program Overview

User Experience has a vital role in the success and effectiveness of any Product, Application, and Service. The UX course introduces the students to the elements of User Experience design and its process involving aspects of visual design, user interface design, information design, data visualization, storytelling, usability engineering, etc.

It will also introduce the students to the deliverables they need to pass on to the software engineer/developers for implementation of their design. The students of this course will be able to apply the knowledge to their own professional work or of an organization in designing experiences of using their website, software products, and applications, mobile applications etc.

The work involves designing, modeling, testing and producing prototypes. Working alongside engineers and model-makers, industrial / product designers conduct research and devise a design proposal for projects.
