Overview

The School strives to augment individual creative thinking and technical skills to hone future professionals who can engage in independent and contextually informed artistic practice.

The students identify and understand the relationship of design and arts to the wider societal needs and are trained to find user-oriented solutions to industry challenges.

The wide range of programmes in the School of Design, curated by industry experts and delivered by academicians with robust industry and research experience make students industry-ready in the fields of applied arts, visual communication, user experience, jewellery manufacturing, interior designing, product innovation, entrepreneurship and fashion. The programmes offer a holistic learning experience through multiple electives, entrepreneurship training, interdisciplinary collaborative innovation and research projects, peer learning, industry visits and study tours to exhibitions and research organizations.
