I am currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Economics at MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune. The programme has significantly strengthened my analytical and critical thinking abilities, along with my skills in economic research, policy analysis, and data-driven decision- making. The curriculum’s strong focus on research methodology, statistical tools, and real- world applications has enabled me to actively engage in academic research and primary surveys.

The faculty members are knowledgeable, approachable, and highly supportive, encouraging independent and research-oriented learning. Their mentorship has been instrumental in building my academic confidence.

As the Student Placement Representative, I have gained valuable leadership and communication experience while working closely with the placement cell and industry partners. MIT-WPU, Pune offers a dynamic learning environment with excellent infrastructure and holistic development opportunities. I am proud to be part of the university and grateful for the role it has played in shaping my academic and professional journey.

Pursuing an M.Sc. in Economics at MIT World Peace University, Pune has been a truly transformative and rewarding experience. Overall, MIT-WPU, Pune provides a vibrant, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating environment that has contributed meaningfully to my academic, professional, and personal growth.

"I started my Bachelor's degree in Economics in August 2018 at MIT-WPU and I have been enthralled by the vast exposure I had here. Starting from the basics of classroom engagement and infrastructure, I feel the campus provides an optimum balance between the infrastructure and facilities along with lush green surroundings. I have enjoyed studying my favourite subjects like Applied Econometrics, Business Mathematics, and Statistics for Economics mainly because of the professors here. Their classroom sessions were highly engaging and they are excellent at explaining the theory with real-life business examples. Professors here are the real advisors for internships and job opportunities and have helped a majority of students to land their career-defining internships, including me. Personal guidance and assistance reflected in the members of staff as well, who have been outstanding. I am currently working as a Technology Analyst for India's leading marketing automation firm – Pixis, and the lessons from my professors are still with me taking me to the heights of success. To conclude my overall experience, I would definitely recommend the B. Sc (Hons.) in Economics undergraduate degree from MIT-WPU because the curriculum here is only for those who are up for a definite challenge and are willing to put in what it takes to be the best among the best."

These experiences greatly enhanced my confidence and helped me gain clarity about my future aspirations while still being a student. Overall, the learning atmosphere here at MIT-WPU, Pune was vibrant, inclusive, and consistently inspiring.

The B.Sc. Economics programme offers an excellent balance of rigorous classroom learning and meaningful practical exposure. The faculty members are highly approachable and foster an environment of open discussion, consistently guiding students beyond examinations and assignments. One of the most enriching aspects of the programme has been the opportunity to collaborate with students from diverse disciplines through academic projects and the organization of university-wide events, making the learning experience both engaging and collaborative.

The Dept. of Economics and Public Policy also facilitate valuable interactions with industry professionals, alumni, and economists through expert talks and workshops. Additionally, the well-planned national and international study tours, along with the rural immersion programme, provide impactful exposure to real economic environments, effectively bridging the gap between theory and practice.
