School of Pharmacy Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University Pune was earlier MAEER’S Maharashtra Institute of Pharmacy, which was established in the year 1997 to cater the need of experienced pharmacist globally.

School of pharmacy offers B. Pharmacy, M. Pharm. (Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry), Post Graduate Diploma in Regulatory Affairs (PGDRA) and Ph.D. in Pharmacy. School of Pharmacy is known for its academic excellence, co-curricular as well as extracurricular achievements and provides excellent infra-structural facilities such as state of the art building, laboratories, computer laboratory, machine room, museum, tutorial room etc. The machine room is a prototype of a small scale pharmaceutical manufacturing facility which includes all departments such as tablets, capsules, ointments, creams and liquid orals. A well stacked library which has vast collection of books, journals (National & International) gives a brighter edge.

MIT-WPU is the first university to offer ‘Peace Curriculum’ for the spiritual and moral enhancement of the students. MIT-WPU firmly believes in technological advancement through peace studies. This is a direct result of our unique WPU teaching methodology which stresses on academic as well as experiential learning, something that can be attested to by our numerous social outreach programs along with numerous student initiatives.
