Usually Students who have finished BCA or engineering can apply for this course.

Programme Structure

MCA is a 3 year programme divided into trimesters and each trimester with specified choice based credit system. There are a total of 9 semesters and 5 Electives.

      • Total Programme Credits: 180 (All courses + SIP+ Internship+ WPU courses)

      • Semester I to Semester V, will have 1 World Peace Course with due credits

      • Guest Lectures per semester from National and International Speakers

      • Value added certifications from Dale Carnegie, Oracle, Microsoft, Cloud etc.

      • Minimum 2 live projects in the entire programme other than Industry Internship.

        • Continuous evaluation with credit based system

        • Term end: 50%

        • Continuous Assessment: 50%

MIT-WPU follows UGC specified eligibility norms while accepting applications for admissions from students. To be eligible you need to meet the below mentioned criteria-

    • Candidate should be a graduate from any statutory university

    • Minimum marks at graduation level for General Category students- 50% and for SC/ ST/OBC/NT 45%.

    • Must pass mathematics/Business Mathematics & Statistics paper for 10+2 or graduation Level

    • Require current academic year valid scores for CET

    • Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to marks criteria as per point 2 above.

    • Candidates passing degree examination by part-time / correspondence / external course / distance learning or in one sitting are not eligible.
