Achievement of Polymer Alumni

Dr. Anuya Nisal, Alumni of the School of Polymer Engineering 2000 batch has been selected for the Indian National Academy of Engineering – Young Entrepreneur Award 2020. She is Principal Scientist, National Chemical Laboratories, Pune. She completed her doctorate from IITB. Her research is focused on the development of novel polymeric materials, blends, and composites, their structure-property-processing relationships primarily for the biomedical sector. For the last few years, we have been exploring the development of value-added and niche applications of silk fibroin, which is an ancient textile material. This award is for founding and nurturing Biolmed Innovations.
