MIT-WPU congratulates two of their teams Zero++ and Brain_Stormers for winning first prize at the prestigious Smart India Hackathon 2020 organised by MHRD, AICTE, MHRD Innovation Cell and i4C. Both the teams competed with teams from top colleges of the nation and achieved the first position and a cash prize. Team Zero++ which was led by Hrishikesh Mahajan who created a ‘Groundwater level Analytics Dashboard’ which will help the Ministry of Jal Shakti to plan and optimise resources to solve the water crisis in India. The other team Brain_Stormers was led by Devashish Bote who created a ‘Stubble Buddy’ project under Amazon Web Services , which will optimised waste management, specifically the problem of stubble aggregation. MIT-WPU motivates its students to create prototypes for the benefit of humanity and the environment.
