World Parliament of Religion, Science and Philosophy 2019

The 5th world parliament of religion, science, and philosophy took place from the 2nd of October 2019 to the 4th of October 2019 and was a roaring success. The parliament attracted some of the most eminent educationists, philosophers, scientists, and religious authorities from across the world including the US, Afghanistan and Thailand. There were 8 sessions conducted over the 3 days with two award ceremonies and a concluding valedictory session. Here is the report for the three days of the conference.

Conferment of Gandhi Peace Prize on Dr Ramjee Singh and Dr T S Devadoss (Day 1)

The eminent Gandhi Peace Prize was then conferred on Dr Ramjee Singh and Dr T S Devadoss and the audience was also treated to short films about their life and speeches by them. Dr Mashelkar and then the chief guest of the event, Dr Karan Singh then gave speeches.

Philosopher Saint Shree Dnyaneshwara World Peace Prize 2019 on Dr Karan Singh and Shri Arif Mohammad Khan (Day 2)

The ‘Philosopher Saint Shree Dnyaneshwara World Peace Prize 2019’ was awarded to the Chief Guest of the event Dr Karan Singh as well as the guest of honour for the event, Shri Arif Mohammad Khan. There were short films played about the award recipients lives and on receiving the award, they graced the audience with speeches.

Conferment of the ‘Vishwa – Vigyan – Darshanik Award’ on Revered Prof Dr Vishwanath Karad (Day 3)

This session started with the conferment of the ‘Vishwa – Vigyan – Darshanik Award’ on Revered Prof Dr Vishwanath Karad and was the highlight of the day.
