“Run for A Cause” marathon was organized as a part of MIT-WPU Aarohan Cultural program on 7th January 2018.

Over 700 students, 150 corporates and faculty participated in the 6 kms run that took place this Sunday- 7th Jan 2018.
The event was flagged off by Hon. Prof. Mangesh T. Karad.
The route was well planned with student volunteers taking care of traffic management and sufficient water stations.  The enthusiastic participants kept up the tempo and goodwill. They were all in support of the cause and the dedication of athletes and participating runners was inspiring. The run reinstated the need for a healthy lifestyle.
The collections from registration fees for the marathon was donated to “Bhoomi”  – an NGO working for Education for Underprivileged.
Certificates were distributed to all participants and the winners were  awarded a cash prize by Hon. Prof. Dr. Mangesh Karad.
