Parent Teacher Meeting is an initiative to groom the interaction among parents and faculties and make them acquainted with the culture of the MIT WPU University. PTM for the students of S.Y.B.Tech CSE was held on 22nd Dec 2018.

The aim of the program was to ensure that every student feels welcomed, engaged and excited to begin this new important stage in their education. The idea was to make the students aware of their prospective opportunities and to show them the path they have to adopt in order to become successful engineers. In this program around 50 parents participated. The program was conducted from 9 am to 12 pm on second floor, D building.

Class Teachers, subject teachers and coordinators informed parents about the trimester pattern of university, lab continuous assessment and class continuous assessment, National Tour etc. The parents were concerned about their ward teaching and learning process which was also discussed in meeting. Teachers enlightened the students about rigorous efforts taken by faculty members, course coordinators for designing school syllabi by taking time to time inputs from industry members, BOS members etc. The PTM came to an end with the conclusion that the progress of the students depends on the joint effort of parents and teachers. Team S.Y.B.Tech CSE would like to express their gratitude to the Deans, head, all teaching and nonteaching staff and the parents of second year B Tech Course for their kind cooperation to make this program successful. Dr. Mangesh V. Bedekar, Head, School of Computer Engineering and Technology also interacted with parents.
