MIT, Pune celebrates its 38th anniversary with remembrance of the past and hope for the future.
It has been 38 years this 5 th August 2020 since Revered Prof Dr Vishwanath D Karad changed the face of Indian education by inaugurating the MAEER’S MIT, Pune institution. Today was marked with celebration throughout the MAEER’S family of institutions, keeping in mind the COVID-19 restrictions. First to speak was the revered visionary Prof V D Karad himself. He spoke about the journey of MAAER’s and of his own beliefs and how they have crystallised in this group of educational institutes and of the impact they have had.
Then it was the turn of his son and current Executive President of MIT-WPU Sri Rahul Karad to give his own views about the legacy he has inherited and how he plans to not only realize the vision of his father, but also to further it. Then Prof Mangesh Karad also spoke of the impact that MEER’s has had on education while recounting its journey.
Then there were many luminaries who spoke on this celebratory day including Dr Mashelkar andDr Vijay P Bhatkar who spoke extensively about the journey, its impact and its visionary appeal.
