Hon’ble Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank – Minister of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India graced the occasion and addressed the Clarion Call to the Students & Youth encouraging them to Join 10 th Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad-New Delhi-Feb 20-24.
Pune-28 th Jan 2020- Hon’ble Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank – Minister of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India extended the “Clarion Call to Youth for Strengthening Democracy” by attending the upcoming 10 th Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad –which marks a decade of successful execution of the largest classroom connecting politically active students and youth from across India. The 10 th edition is a unique opportunity for youth occurring only once in a decade at this prestigious venue, which will witness top leaders from Government, Judiciary, Media and Politics addressing 2000+ select Pan-India Youth who are actively working for nation building. There was a Special Address to Student community by Dr.Ramesh Pokhriyal made on the subject “Upholding Ancient Indian Values for World Peace and Democracy”.
Speaking at the Clarion Call and encouraging the youth-Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal said “India is the largest democracy with largest number of Youth worldwide and is known for leading the world in diverse fields. It is very apt that MIT-World Peace University has taken up the mission to promote World Peace and Instill democratic values, traditions and leadership qualities among the youth. I call upon the youth to adopt best of old legacy and new-age technology, science, value based education and spirituality for attaining world peace and prosperity. BCS-the largest classroom for politically active students is taking this initiative forward by connecting grassroots to the higher ups.“
The Clarion Call was attended by all MIT-WPU Students and BCS State Co-ordinators coming from various states of India. The 10 th Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad marks the celebration of 10 Glorious year of Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad whereby the mission of ‘Inspiring Youth, Strengthening Democracy’ has now become a movement with almost 15 BCS State Level chapters organized by inspired youth and BCS state Co-coordinators and supported by regional governments and legislative assemblies in many cases.
Other key dignitaries who addressed the gathering along with Hon’ble HRD Minister-Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal during the ‘Clarion Call to Youth’ were UNESCO Chair Holder Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad – Executive President, MIT World Peace University & Founder, MIT SOG, BCS, NTC, NWP & Sarpanch Sansad; Dr. N. T. Rao – Vice Chancellor, MIT World Peace University and all Academic Deans, Directors and Key Officials of MIT-WPU and MIT School of Government.
