National Cadet Corps

The inception of MIT NCC TROOP in 1995 was a testament to visionary leadership and unwavering support from notable figures. Sqn. Ldr. Dr. Sanjay Deshmukh's far-reaching vision, combined with the commitment of distinguished individuals like Late Vice Principal Prof. S J Bhide, Principal Prof Dr. L K Kshirsagar, Executive Director Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D Karad, Dean Prof. Sharadchandra Darade Patil, and Founder Director Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D Karad, laid the foundation for a remarkable journey of growth and excellence in troop activities.

Over the past twenty-eight years, the troop has evolved into a close-knit family, uniting cadets from all three wings of the NCC and volunteers. The NCC, with its diverse adventure, social, academic, cultural, and co-curricular activities, has become a defining feature of this nationally acclaimed institution.
