Our Associations

The Entrepreneurship Development Centre is associated with various national and international organizations to provide students proper guidance, enhance their networks and to enable them for discussion and development of entrepreneurial ideas. MITSOM EDC takes pride in its associations with the following organizations:

The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) is an autonomous and not-for-profit organization, set up in 1983, facilitates emergence of competent entrepreneurs in India. EDII is sponsored by apex financial institutions- the IDBI Bank Ltd, IFCI Ltd., ICICI Ltd. and the SBI.

The National science and Technology entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), established in 1982 by Government of India is an institutional mechanism to help and promote knowledge driven and technology intensive enterprises. The Board aims to convert “job-seekers” into “job-generators” through science and technology interventions.

National Entrepreneurship Network(NEN) is a community dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship. Services focus on Institutional Capacity Building, Entrepreneur support, Entrepreneurial eco-system & National platforms. Based on an idea by Romesh Wadhwani, the goal of community is to enable new and future entrepreneurs to access events and resources, share ideas and content, organize and market activities and forge relationships across India and the world.

TIE Silicon Valley is a non-profit association dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship globally. TIE strives to inspire entrepreneurs through mentoring, networking, education, incubating and funding programs and activities. TIE was founded in 1992 by a group of successful entrepreneurs and is currently the world’s largest entrepreneurial organisation. TIE Pune is committed to develop a sustainable entrepreneurial infrastructure in Pune.
