The School of Media and Journalism provides full-time thoroughly developed programme incorporating lively theoretical lectures, hands-on practical sessions, tutorials, classroom presentations and industry driven assignments. Furthermore, field trips, rural immersion programmes, national and international study tours and projects help to add to the depth of learning. Foundation, core, electives and unique courses related to world peace along with real life research projects, are part of the undergraduate programme curriculum. Adequate emphasis is laid upon co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
The school of media also aims to provide an overall view of the media industry and helps students to understand the dynamics of the industry. MIT-WPU provides the world’s most advanced and uniquely defined opportunity based professional education.

Welcome to MIT-World Peace University, School of Media and Journalism for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs. B.A. Journalism & Mass Communication and M.A Journalism & Mass Communication aim to provide an overview of Journalism and Mass Communication. The programs offered at School of Media and Journalism are a unique blend of practical and classroom learning. The programs provide flexibility and variety that suits the interests and needs of the students. The co-curricular and extra-curricular activities will shape the ideas and provide right direction to the creativity of the students.
School of Media and Journalism will create a group of prospective professionals who would be well equipped to face the challenges of the 21st century. It will fulfill the multiple requirements of employers globally. Rural and National Immersion programs will ensure that empathy is cultivated in students along with professional ethics. B.A. Journalism & Mass Communication and M.A Journalism & Mass Communication Programs endeavor to create reporters, entrepreneurs, editors, leaders, anchors, journalists, advertisers, public relations officers, event managers, film makers, channel heads of the future.
MIT-World Peace University encourages critical thinking, creativity and spiritual development among students. Peace studies is an integral part of the curriculum which builds a character with integrity and awareness. This philosophy enables the students to become lifelong learners.
