What is the basic eligibility OR minimum percentage required to apply for the MBA?
The candidate should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
- Passed minimum three year duration Bachelors Degree awarded by University recognized by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent (at least 45% in case of candidates of Backward class categories)
- Should have appeared any of the following entrance examination:
MAH – CET, CAT (Conducted by IIMs) CMAT (Conducted By AICTE) GMAT (Conducted By GMAC, USA) MAT (Conducted By AIMA) XAT (Conducted By XLRI) ATMA (Conducted By AIMS) (Graduation appearing candidates can also apply.)
What is the duration of the MBA Programme?
All 4 categories of MBA offered under MIT WPU are two years full time courses divided over six trimesters.
Are these programs recognized by University/ AICTE/ UGC?
The programs are affiliated to the MIT World Peace University, approved by Government of Maharashtra and recognized by UGC (Established under Govt. of Maharashtra Act No. XXXV 2017 as a State Private University dated on 5th May 2017).
Are my chances of admission enhanced if a relative has attended this B-School previously?
What are the documents required at the time of enrollment of Admission?
All the student who are appearing or been selected for / through Entrance Test have to submit the photo copies of documents like
- Mark sheet& Certificates of 10th, 12th, Diploma & Degree Certificates Original and attested Xerox.
- Entrance Exam Score card
- College Leaving/Transfer Certificate in original and attested Xerox.
- Domicile/ Nationality Certificate attested Xerox
- Gap Affidavit (if applicable) on stamp paper.
- Migration Certificate original and attested Xerox.
- SC/ST: Caste Certificate, Caste Validity Certificates attested Xerox.
- OBC, SBC, NT, DT, VJ: Caste Certificate, Caste Validity Certificate, Non-Creamy layer
- Photo Identity proof (Adhar Card, Driving License, Passport, Election Voter ID Xerox)
- Residential Proof (Electricity Bill, Passport etc.)
- 5 Pass port size Photographs
Does MIT WPU consider scores from previous administrations of the MH-CET/MAT/XAT/ATMA etc?
No, the score of any of the exam mentioned is valid only for one year. Hence, previous administrations of any eligibility exam will not be considered.
What if I cannot take any Entrance test or MH-CET/MAT/XAT/ATMA etc in my country?
For Indian Students, it is mandatory to appear for entrance exam with a valid score card.
If I sit for other international credentials, must I submit MH-CET/MAT/XAT/ATMA/CMAT etc scores?
Yes, all the aspiring candidates have to appear for any of the above mentioned entrance exam.
What admissions criteria do you use?
All Students willing to apply should submit their academic credentials and entrance test score (MHCET/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT). Based on above a merit list will be prepared

Questions about MIT WPU
Is it possible to get to know my professors?
Yes. In addition to weekly office hours, students often spend time with their professors before and after class. There are also many events when professors and students participate together in various activities and special chronicles.
How large are classes?
MIT WPU fulfills faculty-student ratio as per MIT WPU norms. The maximum enrollment of a class in not more than 70 students.
Is attendance compulsory for programs offered?
Yes, 90% classroom attendance is compulsory as per MIT WPU.
What Co-curricular, extracurricular opportunities are available?
MIT WPU at the beginning of academic year prepares an activity planner which includes all the curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular events to be conducted. To keep abreast with academic, curricular and co-curricular activities, MIT WPU conducts multiple events per semester for the students. This number has witnessed a phenomenal growth over the last few years. A number of Student driven Forum and Clubs are formed to ensure events which contemporary to society and business environment.
What opportunities are given for Research and live projects?
MIT WPU stimulates joint as well as individual Research Projects. A team of students and faculty members bagged first prize in the Live HR Research Project Competition organized by MCCIA. In addition to Summer Internship Program, we have connect with Industry ad Chambers to get sponsored projects which are completed by student team. After the conclusion of such project, student team performance is assessed and certificate is granted.

No, as all the categories of MBA offered under MIT WPU are full time degree courses, we do not offer of Distance learning mode.

We offer various specialization for MBA:

What campus security measures are in place at MIT WPU?
MIT WPU has a comprehensive public safety program that includes full campus security guards, a walking escort service, a campus-wide CCTV cameras, emergency phones and lighted pathways.
Does MIT WPU provide services if I have a disability?
Our organization contributes to the society through institutional social responsibilities. This is depicted by various methods including admission of differently-abled students, and thereby assisting them for their needs in academics and extracurricular through continuous support throughout the academic year. Moreover, our organization has a dedicated committee who looks after differently abled person in the premises. Other infrastructural facilities are also available at campus such as elevator, ramp, wheel chair etc.
Does MIT WPU provides opulent library?
MITSOM has state of the art, well equipped and service oriented Library. The library acts as a key resource to all its stakeholders such as students, faculty and various other academic and corporate partners.
MITSOM has SOP for procurement of library resources including books and reputed Journals. Publishers’ catalogues website and email lists acts as key input for their procurement. MITSOM leadership believes and understands the importance of Library as a resource in development of B school.

What is the policy of refund of Fess in case of cancellation of admission?
The students cancelling their admission after the commencement of course will be receive the refund of fees after deductions of the amounts as mentioned below as prescribed by the University/Competent Authority.

What if my family's financial situation changes while I am attending MIT WPU?
We allow grace period, in case any student is not able to pay fees in given time period.
What if I fail to pay for my education?
After the expiry of grace period, a notice shall be posted to your permanent address, allowing you another period of grace. Failing to report in the next grace period, your admission will be considered as cancelled.
What is a Term-Time Work Expectation?
Students enrolled for MBA and MCA programs are expected to have minimum of 90% of class room attendance and hence, are not allowed to work and study at the same time.
What happens to my financial aid award if I receive additional outside assistance?
Students enrolled at MIT WPU can receive only one financial aid. No student can apply and receive additional outside financial aid.
What do I need to do to Report Outside Financial Aid?
Any student who receive outside financial aid has to report in MIT WPU’s office and follow the procedures to avail the financial aid.
What time of the year is your placement program?
The Placement is not an “End of Programme” activity and the institutional effort needs to begin at the entry level of the students by way of making them aware of what the industry would expect from them after they join their professional careers as trained managers, and should continue through their academic tenure till creating placement opportunities for them from corporate of high repute.

What are the typical steps in the placement process?
The typical steps in the placement process would be:
- Communication of interest in the placement program
- Corporate Presentation/PPT
- Finalizing an initial interview date
- Submission of CVs/Applications by students
- Shortlisting of students by the company
- Extending offers to selected students
What amenities / infrastructure are available for a presentation/placement process on campus?
The campus is equipped with state-of-the-art physical, communication and computing infrastructure to facilitate a smooth placement process. Computing facilities, projection facilities for multimedia presentations; telecommunication facilities for teleconferencing and video-conferencing; seminar rooms and presentation halls for presentations/workshops are available.
May I appear for off-campus placement processes as well?
Such requests are considered on a case-to-case basis. Please consult the Placement Office and the Student Placement Committee for working out the details.
Is there a fee for placement?
There is a NO fee for placements.

We have strong network of corporate where more than 300 organizations are regular recruiters for final placement, internship and other activities.
What is the eligibility criteria for Campus Placement Program?
Students falling under below mentioned categories are not permitted to apply for placement support.
- Students with backlog in the 1st year which has not been cleared.
- Students involved in disciplinary action such as e.g. – cheating, copying, disruption of academic process, individual behavior etc…
- Fees are overdue.
- Students that are put on ‘Placement Hold’ or ‘Placement Debar’ provision for a specific period.

What is the package offered?
The placement record for the every year is witnessing a good growth. The highest package for National Level placement last year was Rs. 9 Lacs and for International Placement was Rs. 26 Lacs. The average package was Rs. 5 Lacs.
