Bachelor of Science (Computational Mathematics & Statistics) is a blend of three strong pillars of current high tech education. It’s a three years full time program in pure & applied Mathematics, Statistics & Computer Science designed to develop student’s knowledge and expertise to be competent for industry exposure & meet the shortage of skilled human resources. The course curriculum includes cutting-edge programming languages like C, R, Java, Python etc along with Mathematical & Statistical core subjects and Peace courses taught by experienced and eminent faculties. MIT-WPU is widely recognized in India and abroad for its consistent excellence in imparting education. After successful completion of this program, students can contribute to fundamental research, designing, development of software applications.

Program Orientation

  •   During first year, students will learn Mathematics, Statistics and Computer subjects along with basic sciences like physics, chemistry & biology with peace studies and language paper as English. Students will be trained to use the tools required for higher levels.

  •   During the second year, students will learn different programming languages along with mathematical & statistical courses to develop a base for higher courses in computational mathematics.

  •   During the third year, students would have Mooc courses to enhance their applicability skills and learn advanced topics in mathematics & statistics.

  •   Students undergo a continuous assessment every trimester and following pedagogy methods are used: Mini Project development, Problem-solving approach, Participative learning, discussions, algorithm, Program writing, experiential learning through practical problem-solving, assignment, PowerPoint presentation.
