Dr. Sunil George is the Dean of the School of Law at MIT-WPU. He is a distinguished professional with a remarkable career spanning twenty-six years, encompassing both Academics and Administration.

In the corporate world, he spent fourteen years holding key roles in Administration and Legal departments at renowned companies such as Aker Powergas Private Limited, Capita Offshore Services, TCG Software Services, Bharti Airtel, and Indiainfo.com.

Transitioning to the field of education, Dr. Sunil George has devoted the last twelve years to shaping the legal landscape. He served as the Dean of the School of Law at Vijaybhoomi University in Karjat and as the Principal of IFIM Law School in Bangalore. He also contributed to the academic community through roles at Amity Law School, Kolkata, and an association with Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS).

Dr. George's expertise spans various legal domains, including Business Law, Company Law, Contract Law, Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Property Law, Criminal Law, and Constitutional Law. He plays a pivotal role in designing law curricula as a member of the Board of Studies and contributes to faculty recruitment in various law colleges as a subject expert.

Dr. George's remarkable career is further enriched by his contributions to the academic world, including the authorship of a reference book titled 'Economics' for the Five-Year Law course at Mumbai University, published by C. Jamnadas and Co. Dr. George is also recognised for his guest lectures and his role as a judge in Debate and Moot Court competitions. He has made significant contributions through research papers and presentations at national and international seminars.

Beyond his professional life, Dr. George actively engages in environmental conservation efforts, with a specific focus on rivers, water bodies, mangroves, and natural habitats in the Charkop area of Mumbai. His dedication to excellence is exemplified by his receipt of the 'Best Faculty Award' at NMIMS Kirit P Mehta School of Law for the academic year 2018-19.
