Bio

“Suja Panicker completed her B.E. (Computer Engineering) from KK Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research, Nasik in 2002, and M.Tech Computer Engineering (IT) from VIT Pune. She is currently pursuing Ph.D. at VIT University, Vellore, Tamil Nadu. She has a total experience of 16 years and has been serving in MIT since the past 14 years. Currently, she works as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering. She has taught a variety of subjects like Computer Forensics and Cyber Applications, Advanced Databases, Database Management Systems, Computer Organization, Software Engineering, Information Security, Software Modeling and Design, Object-Oriented Modeling and Design, System Programming, Software Engineering and Project Management. She is sincere, hardworking and a devoted teacher. In every responsibility assigned to her as part of department’s curricular and/or extra-curricular work, she has shown a lot of credibilities. Be it maintaining the role of Class Teacher, Seminar Co-ordinator, NBA Criteria member, Annual Social Gathering Committee Member; or completing tasks such as – drafting Transcript of a department, drafting department’s Brochure, compiling and documenting department’s Annual Report, documenting department’s Minutes Of Meetings, department’s Ex-Employees File etc. Her areas of interest include Machine Learning and User Profiling. She has several publications in reputed International Conferences and has been guiding research projects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Apart from academics, she has a penchant for writing. She has some poems and several freelance articles published in newspapers and reputed national magazines.”
