Shilpa Paygude completed her Bachelors ( B.E. E&TC) and Masters course (M.E. E&TC) in Engineering from College Of Engineering, Pune in 1990 and 2001 respectively. She has submitted her Ph.D. thesis on research work in Image Video Processing and Computer Vision field in Sep 2018. She did her research in College Of Engineering, Pune. She has published about 15 articles in National and International journals. She has been working in MIT since last 25 years with total experience of 27 years. She worked in E&TC department for 10 years and is currently working in the Computer Engineering department as an Associate Professor. Her areas of interest are Microprocessors and Microcontrollers, Embedded Systems, Image Processing, Computer Vision, Electronic Devices and Circuits etc. She has mentored a large number of students in her tenure. She has accomplished various responsibilities in her career in Education. She worked as Head of Computer Engineering department from Dec 2011 to Feb. 2014. She is currently working as Head of F.Y. B.Tech. under MIT World Peace University. Her contribution is recognized with ‘MIT Foundation Day Award’ in the year 2014.
