Bio

“Prof. Shahbaz Dandin is graduated in Civil Engineering from VTU,Belgaum(2012); Earned his masters in Geotechnical Engineering from Govt. Basaveshwar Engineering college,Bagalkot (2014)and pursuing Ph.D (Cellular Reinforcement) in MIT World Peace University,Pune. He is currently a Assistant Professor in School of Civil Engineering, MIT World Peace University,Pune. His expertise and Research interests are in the areas of Geosynthetics and Ground improvement, Indirect methods of subsurface exploration.His current research is on bottle mattress as reinforcement on Fly ash fills along with the use and experimentation on various applications in civil engineering and had DOM sponsored project in these areas(Funding ID- PhD CR 35/2018-19). He is member of the International Geosynthetics Society (IGS).”
