Bio

Dr. Amrut Anant Joshi is Assistant Professor at School of Civil Engineering, MIT-WPU since December,2017. He holds B.E, Civil (Pune University, 2005), M.Sc (Engineering ) and PhD (Indian Institute of Science, 2015). His research interests include but are not limited to seismic analysis and design of civil engineering structures, design of earthquake resistant features for masonry and other buildings, experimental dynamics and analysis and design of ferrocement-LGS composite buildings. He has successfully completed two research projects funded by RandPolyProducts Ltd. He teaches courses dealing with structural analysis and design. He has participated in many workshops/courses on Outcome Based Education (A course by IUCEE, Cambridge University: TKT module-2, 3 and CLIL etc.). He is approved PhD guide under MIT-WPU, Pune.
