Umesh Raut graduated from Govt. college of engineering, Amravati, and did masters from Govt. college of engineering (COE), Pune and currently pursuing his Ph.D. He is working as an Assistant Professor and a dedicated, passionate professor of undergraduate level students for over 16 years. Accomplished researcher, he published papers in various national and international journals. He is a co-author of Computer Network book of Technical publications Pune. He has taught various subjects like Computer Networks, WSN, Cybersecurity, Digital signal processing etc. He has been able to work as part of a team and have the proven ability to successfully work to tight schedules and deadlines. He also has been providing mentoring, advice and support to students on a personal level. Involved in course team activities and also participated in syllabus revision (or setting) workshop of MTech and BTech. As a faculty advisor of MIT Computer User Group (MCUG), the students conducted or arranged various seminars and workshops throughout the year for better curriculum development of other students under the guidance of him. Under MIT Computer Cultural Group (MCCG), he has given a platform to students to showcase their talents in acting, dancing, and signing other than studies. He has also been a part of or taken responsibility for a lot of administration level committees at his department. He is a coordinator of a national study tour of S.Y. BTech students. He was involved in the admission process of MITWPU and also, in-charge of social media marketing for the same.
