Dr. Vinod Sartape

Bio

Dr Vinod Sartape is Assistant Professor of Sociology in the Department of Liberal Arts, MIT-World Peace University, Pune. He has obtained a doctorate in Sociology and Social Anthropology from Central European University, Vienna, Austria. His research areas include Migration and Diaspora, Social Exclusion, Anthropology of Caste, Religion, Globalisation, and Social Movements in India and the Globe. Dr Vinod has an MPhil in Sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and an MA in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. He is qualified the NET-JRF in Sociology. Prior to joining MIT-WPU, Vinod has taught Sociology for three years at the Babes-Bolyai University, Romania
