Bio

Thejaswini J C, has completed PhD from the Dept. of Electronic Media and Mass Communication, Pondicherry University in 2022. She has cleared UGC NET and JRF in June- 2014 session, during her master’s in mass communication and journalism and joined for PhD as a JRF Fellow in 2015. Her PhD is a new materialist study of digital artworks, and the thesis is titled as “Digital Artworks on Women on Instagram: Exploring Affective Encounters and Flows of Meanings.” Her interested area of research includes New Media studies, Gender studies, Digital Art and Experience, Film studies and Cultural studies.
