Ms. Smriti TanvaniAssistant Professor

Bio
Ms. Smriti Tanvani has a work experience of 6 years. She is currently enrolled as a Ph.D. Scholar at Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar. Her Ph.D. research is on ‘Cyber Security and Data Protection Laws in India, U.S and European Union’. Her academic journey also includes an LL.M. in ‘Constitution and Administrative Law’ from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar, and a B.Com & LL.B. from the University of Lucknow. In 2018, Ms. Smriti Tanvani successfully cleared the UGC-NET and began her academic career. Before joining the School of Law, MIT World Peace University Pune, Ms. Smriti Tanvani served as an Assistant Professor of Law at the School of Law, National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar (Institute of National Importance), Institute of Law, Nirma University Ahmedabad and School of Law, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus where she managed both academic and administrative responsibilities. Her areas of interest include Cyber Security, Digital rights and Data Protection, Artificial Intelligence and Law and Women and Child rights. Additionally, she has presented papers at various international and national conferences and seminars.
