Bio

Rajeesh Kumar T V completed his PhD in the Department of Electronic Media and Mass Communication at Pondicherry University, India, where he was awarded the University Grants Commission’s (UGC) Junior/Senior Research Fellowship. Prior to pursuing his PhD, he worked as a Project Fellow for a UGC Major Research Project titled “Social Media and Ethics: A Socio-Technical Approach to the Making of Ethics among Children and Youth of Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry” for two years. He also holds a post-graduate degree in Mass Communication from Mangalore University, Karnataka, where he ranked first in his university. His research interests include journalism studies, critical media studies, new media/digital media studies, and the political economy of media.
