Bio

Dr. Pradnya Deshpande, Associate Professor, is an experienced academician and researcher. She holds a Ph. D in Chemistry from Savitribai Phule Pune University. With over 20 years of academic experience and about 6 years of industrial experience as Senior Scientific Officer at Sudarshan Chemical Industries (P) Ltd, Pune. Dr. Deshpande has received the Ideal Teacher Award and the Best Paper Presentation Award at an International Conference. She has also served as a Resource Person/Subject Expert in various conferences, workshops, and seminars, and is a reviewer for various manuscripts for the Journal of Essential Oil bearing Plants (JEOP), an International Journal published by the Taylor & Francis group. She teaches courses such as Engineering Chemistry, Inorganic and Organic Chemistry, Principles of Green Technology for undergraduate students and Instrumentation for Ph.D. pursuing students. Dr. Deshpande’s research work focused on natural product Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry and Phytochemistry.
