Bio

Dr. Amey S. Deshpande is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune, since 11 February 2021. He completed his Ph.D. in September 2017 from S. P. Pune University with a thesis entitled ""Non-linear Dynamical Systems of Fractional Order: Theory & Simulations"". Prior to joining MIT-WPU, he completed 2 years of Post-Doctoral Research from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay from Jan 2018 - Jan 2020, where he focused on Dynamical Systems, Linear and Non-linear systems of fractional differential equations.

Dr. Deshpande received his M.Sc. Mathematics degree from the University of Pune in 2011, and was awarded the 'Late Shri Damodar Ganesh Ramdasi Gold Medal' and 'Late Principal Rangler Gopalkrishna Laxman Chandratraya Gold Medal' for standing first in M.Sc. Mathematics for the year 2011. He also qualified for the CSIR NET exam in December 2010 with All India Rank 24, and was awarded CSIR JRF for pursuing research in mathematics. Additionally, he was awarded the NBHM Post-Doctoral Fellowship for the year 2017.
