Bio
Dr. Akshay Pramod Dhume has earned Bachelors in Mathematics and Masters in Economics from University of Pune, Masters in Economics from Binghamton University, State University of New York and Doctoral Degree from Savitribai Phule Pune University. He has more than 15 years experieence in teaching and reseach,having been associated with renowned organizations like Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, FLAME University, etc. He was the inaugural Associate Dean of School of Liberal Arts at Alliance University.
Dr. Dhume has served as consultant for projects initiated by the Government of Maharashtra and the Government of Karnataka as well as for organizations like Harvest Plus. His area research focuses on Macroeconomics, Economics of Development and Growth, and Applied Econometrics. He has published several articles in Journals of National and International repute and also contributes to thought pieces in reputed media outlets.
