The peace module integrated into our syllabus has been very beneficial for me. During the lectures, we’ve been taught about the great saints, meditation, spirituality and many more things. This all has helped me a lot in improving myself, understanding about different things and how should I cope up with the things stressing me. I’ve been able to release stress using various methods taught in the peace lectures, the teachers not only teach us but interact with us to resolve any problems or any conflicts, give us guidance. The peace module has helped me overcome many things.

Introduction to Peace as a subject was totally unexpected. Students had no idea what this subject is all about, maybe yoga meditation or something, But by the time when we came to know this subject is to improve and connect to our own selves through different creative and learning ideas and when we learnt about the Indian Mythology, Environment, Inner peace, History, Saints and different great leaders it eventually made us realize the importance of our culture, heritage and the roots of our belongings. Individually I am really very thankful to my Peace faculty and especially Mrs Radhika for being a great teacher and support system. She has always encouraged us to do our best.

Learning peace studies was really a new experience to me personally. It made me understand the minute things around me which I had never thought about. It also helped me in changing my way of thinking in a positive way. Thank you!!

The Peace Studies of MIT World Peace University help us, students, to gain knowledge, enhance our skills in the area of peace, and form an attitude about the actual meaning of peace in human life. It also teaches Spirituality, moral values, humanity, which help to create a feeling of love, trust, tolerance, and brotherhood among people. It changed my perspective towards many things in my life. I personally enjoy learning about scientific studies of the mind, consciousness, spirit along with human dynamics and culture and heritage of our country in the Peace Study Programme. We also have Yoga practices as a part of our routine in college, which helps one remain calm and fresh. So, being a Peace student is as unique of an experience as the idea of Peace Studies.

Peace Studies subject is kind of a break from all those technical subjects where a student gets saturated listening to technical talks again and again. Then suddenly when there is Peace lecture in between then the mind gets very fresh and you are able to learn something which is out of your subject but with that very much essential for you to be a good engineer and good human. My experience with the peace teachers has been really great they have inspired me a lot and have been very helping in other areas of life as well. When I am facing some issue I feel very free to go and talk to my Peace teacher and discuss my issue with them because they make us that comfortable. In MIT the Peace teachers are like the family person to students where they can freely be themselves and they can freely ask whatever doubts they have in life. But I was more amazed when I got to know that some of our Peace faculty are good engineers, doctors in their field some of them were in Air-Force and many more well educated people and in spite of having those qualifications with them they choose to opt for peace teaching opportunity which made me so humble that they are so clear with their aim what they want to give to this world and they choose this profession. I could have not got all this knowledge along with my technical engineering knowledge so I’m grateful that we have something like Peace Studies.
