Greetings and Welcome to the School of Electrical Engineering at MIT World Peace University!

School of Electrical Engineering offers a Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) program in Electrical Engineering.

With the eminent beginning of Industry 4.0 and advancements in electric vehicles, renewable energy, and smart grid technologies, a large number of opportunities and challenges are generated. To realize the potential of such technological progression, there would be a great need of engineers those who can fulfill the demands of innovative services and tackle the new challenges. By taking cognizance of future directions of the electrical, power, electronics, and computer engineering, we have designed a unique trans-disciplinary B. Tech. Program in Electrical Engineering, along with an emphasis on life skills development and world peace.

The school has a strong Industry interface, and the curriculum is designed and evolved as per the Industry needs. To align with curricula, and nurture the academic and research ambiance, we have excellent faculty and state-of-the-art laboratory infrastructure supported by excellent library facilities. More than fifteen domain-specific laboratories provide an exceptional blend of hardware and software facilities for hands-on training and to pursue the research at the cutting edge of technologies. Research in our school spans a wide variety of disciplines essential to the growing field of electrical and electronics engineering, including battery management systems, electric vehicles, smart grids, renewable energy systems, embedded systems, power electronics, Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT), machine learning, and allied areas.

Our students have exciting opportunities to participate in research projects as well as in various activities through the IEEE Student Branch, ISLE Student Chapter, and other clubs. The school not only endeavors to enrich the academic pursuits of its students, but also provide an environment to explore, discover, and nurture their true potential. The holistic approach stimulates innovation among our students by inspiring fresh ideas with different perspectives, creative thinking, and strong conviction to achieve real success. The knowledge and skills gained along with peace, spiritual, and ethical values enable our students to work as better professionals in true global settings.
