In the present era of innovation, more than ever before opportunities and challenges have emerged for advancement in the field of electrical and power engineering. The market requirements, including those of customers and regulators have been changed along with development in ICT and Smart Grid Technologies. Due to automation, nowadays there is a need of connected devices that can be controlled and reconfigured remotely. Innovative services are yet to be developed to handle the most important issues of reliability and resilience in power sector. At the same time, we have been moving towards renewable energies, efficient energy storage systems, electric vehicles, smart and automated machines, smart cities and along with many different paradigms.

With such developments and progression, many more challenges are being posed for the engineers, and they need to find new and innovative ways to tackle it. Hence, MIT World Peace University has designed a unique Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) Program in Electrical Engineering by taking cognizance of future directions of the electrical and power engineering along with an emphasis on life skills development and world peace. This four-year full-time degree provides comprehensive theoretical, practical and real-life knowledge of Electrical Engineering as demanded by the industry today and for the future.
