Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.)
B.Ed. is a two year course being run under the guidelines of NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) and graduation is the minimum qualification necessary to do the B.Ed. course. B.Ed. curriculum enhances their abilities in areas of differentiated instruction, inclusion in schools, student centred pedagogies, and use of ICT, such that they can meet the needs of the 21st century learners. Early Childhood Care and Education
It has been realized that Early Childhood Care Education (ECCE) is a strong base for pre-primary education as “Early Years” are the foundational period in a child’s life in terms of laying the base for future growth and development. The demand for pre-school education has increased tremendously these days.The main aim of ECCE course is to develop the pre-primary level teachers in India. ECCE students are trained in areas like child development and Psychology, teaching methodology, School organization, Health and Nutrition etc.
Need of ECCE
The early years of education play a vital role in the child’s development. Research in neuro-science confirms the importance of the early years in a child’s life particularly since 90% of brain development has already taken place by the time a child is six years of age.

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a 2 years programme requiring minimum qualification as Graduate from any subject specialisation.
Masters in Education (M. Ed)
The minimum requirement for admission consideration is an undergraduate B.Ed degree with B+ and 55% Marks.
